Hey Mama! I can almost bet that first-time Moms searched Google and YouTube for “newborn must-haves” because I 100% did lol. If you’re expecting, this is a great email to have when creating your registry! By the way, I used Amazon Baby Registry and loved it!
As you get further into the list, it’s based on ages 3-4 months. When CZN was a newborn, every day was pretty much the same: feeding, changing, sleeping, and holding but now we have a lot more movement and toys.

Here’s a list of the things I ACTUALLY use every day (or almost every day):
- The obvious: bibs, onesies, pants (people never buy the baby bottoms!! lol), mittens, bottles, burp cloths, receiving blankets, hats, diapers, water wipes, towels, and socks.
- Feeding bibs (for solids)
- Feeding spoons
- Storage bowls
- Little Twig Feeder (for frozen fruit and breast milk popsicles)
- Avocado no rinse cleansing water (I use this for poop diapers to get a really good clean and to prevent rashes)
- My insulated stainless steel water bottle (You can choose any one. It’s easier to have one with a straw when holding baby versus having to unscrew a top. My water bottle stays by my side! Nursing will have you THIRSTYYY.)
- Playmat (this one kept CZN super busy and active!) and toys
- Dresser (I shopped on Facebook marketplace!)
- Baby Monitor
- Foldable play mat to encourage crawling (CZN was able to get a good grip and started crawling shortly after)
- Nursing clothing:
- Rocking chair (Facebook Marketplace!)
- Laundry bin (Check Burlington!)
- Hakaa Milk Catcher
- Bottle drying rack
- Diaper genie’s (+ refill bags)
- Over-the-door organizer
- Stay dry nursing pads (for shirts and bras)
- Hatch Rest Sound Machine (I was hesitant to buy this but it was SO worth it! I love that I can control it from my phone and the preset options!)
- Catcus Bottlebrush cleaner (love how there’s a variety of brushes! I use them all! and Dreft Soap
- Prenatal/Postnatal Vitamins
- Summer Deluxe Super Seat (A FAV!!)
- Frida baby scalp scratcher
- Electric Nail File Drill
- Safety 1st comb and brush
- Satin crib sheets (to protect CZN’s hair!)
- Caddies (can’t live without them!)
- My robe (lbs, late night dream feeds and the pockets come in handy)
- Leggings with pockets (I keep my phone with me for the time/alarms, reminders, creating content, flashlight, requesting baby items from my Husband when he’s in the man cave lol, etc)
- Shea moisture baby coconut oil lotion and soap
- Frida Baby 3-in-1, Nails, Ear Nose Picker (A GEM!)
- Baby lounger (for lounging and tummy time)
- Baby Bjorn Bouncer (she’s loved this since day one!)
- Elvie Breast Pumps (Couldn’t have chosen a better pump!)
- Milk Storage Bags + Permanent marker
- Doona car seat/stroller (it’s heavy but love, love, LOVE it! Check Facebook Marketplace!)
- Sweet Almond Oil for hair (use every few days for hair growth)
- Nested bean sleep sack
- Blackout curtains (GAME CHANGER when it came to helping her sleep!)
- Her crib (we used the bassinet maybe 10 times then it became a laundry bin, mainly because she would wake up every time we laid her in it)
- Both changing tables (we brought one for her room and one for the living room)
- Mini fridge (for the room, instead of storing milk downstairs in the kitchen in the middle of the night)
- A baby carrier/wrap comes in handy but I don’t use it every day. I like the soft, cotton fitted ones that keep the baby nice and snug on your body. If CZN is due for a nap while we’re out, and depending on where we’re going, I take it with me.
I THINKKK I covered everything! But feel free to ask your Mom friends and family members. You got this, Mama!!
